Preparing A New Fly Line       Next time you buy a new fly line, here's something you might want to try before you put it on the reel. Take the Fly line out of the plastic spool, still coiled up, and place it in a zip lock bag. Next get some 303 PROTECTANT and spray it on the line. Let the line soak in the bag with 303 for 2 to 3 days.       The advantage this stuff has over the traditional Fly Line dressings is, the 303 will actually penetrates the coating of the line. This treatment will allow the line to float higher, stay cleaner, and cast easier.
