Cheese Grits With Shrimp And Bacon

1 cup Grits
3 tbsp. Butter
2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 lb. Shrimp, peeled and deveined
6 slices Bacon, fried and chopped
3 tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. Fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup Scallions, chopped
2 cloves Garlic, minced

Cook grits according to package directions.
Add butter and cheese.
Fry bacon in skillet, drain crumble bacon and set aside.
Sauté shrimp in pan with bacon drippings until pink.
Add lemon juice, chopped bacon, parsley, scallions and garlic.
Sauté 1 minute and add to grits.
Mix well and serve as a great side dish with fried fish.
