Andrews Family Famous Shrimp Boil

5 lbs. Fresh shrimp
2 bags Shrimp/crab boil (preferably in sack/bags)
5 lbs. New potatoes (small red will do also)
2 lbs. Smoked sausage, cut into 3 inch segments
12 ears Corn (shucked and split in half)

Fill large pot with water (we use our turkey fryer over the propane stove) and crab/shrimp boil sacks. Add potatoes and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add sausage and corn. Cook for around 10 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until they float on top (approximately 3 to 5 minutes). Carefully drain water and dump contents on a large table covered with newspaper. Serve with cocktail sauce and drawn butter. Add tossed salad and you have a meal!

Portions of shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes can be adjusted for more or less people. Also, sometimes we add quartered onions or cabbage for added flavor.
